Formed as the War Relief Commission in 1944, the organization became World Relief when it expanded services beyond World War II victims.Today, as the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals, World Relief equips churches around the world to lead holistic transformation in their communities. World Relief has programs in Health & Child Development, Economic Development, Refugee & Immigration Services, Anti-Trafficking, Peacebuilding and Disaster Response.
