ProDis is a bioinformatic tool that provides an easy way to identify patterns among different diseases by verifying if they are related because they share the same gene. The application needs a gene short name as its input and generates as an output a chain of diseases that share that one gene, thus forming a network. The user might also navigate through the initial chain and select some of the diseases to check the collection of proteins related to that specific disease or to obtain more information.
