Erste Wallet Description

Erste Wallet is your new, real mobile wallet and a revolutionary payment system. You can pay with Erste Wallet in every shop, store, coffee shop, restaurant – virtually at any place that accepts Erste Wallet payments.

Currently intented for Erste bank clients, the „Wallet“ is a free application that will show all of your accounts in Erste bank, your balances and transactions made with Erste Wallet. It will also enable you to pay from each of your accounts. Since the goal of Erste Wallet is to replace your physical one, along with your Maestro and Visa Electron cards that will apear in the application, you can store your loyalty cards as well!

Beside payments, Erste Wallet gives you the option to transfer funds between two Erste Wallet users. Simply create a payment request, enter the amount you need to recieve and your phone will generate a unique QR code. Show the code to your friend who will scan it and confirm the payment. The money will be instatly on your account!

In-store payments work the same – tell the merchant you want to pay with Erste Wallet and he will show you a (unique) QR code. Scan it, check the requested amount and the recipient and finally – confirm the payment. Of course, prior to any payment, you can choose the account from which you're paying – your current, gyro, FX account or your savings account. You can even choose any account over which you have authority to use it.
