How? Each model is different; one pair (1 & 3) use High Blood Pressure, another pair (1 & 2) use BMI Calculations, etc. With 3 different pre-screening questionnaires in the app, we hope to provide a better look than just one tool. So once the Pre-screening is done, we provide you with a lab to get a diabetes test.
Diabetes is a silent killer, it creates a much higher likelihood for a whole series of misery in it's path; cardiovascular events like heart attack and stroke, blindness, foot amputations, kidney disease, etc. Our goal with this app is to pre-screen as many people as possible so we can eliminate those who are undiagnosed. Only once diagnosed can the process of managing this can begin! Share this with EVERYONE you know, it takes about a minute.
This app is in no way a replacement for advice from a medical professional like your doctor or nurse. The only purpose is to demonstrate your statistical risk factor for diabetes and pre-diabetes in adults. The only way to know for certain is to take labs test such as an A1C or FGT / IGT.
