With the new CaixaBank Pay app by “la Caixa” for Android (4.4 + NFC technology)
you can pay for your purchases in comfort from your cell phone in a simple,
fast and 100% secure manner in any establishment that accepts NFC contactless payments.

CaixaBank Pay is your new virtual purse or wallet. With this application
you can use your cards on your cell phone and carry out your purchases without physical
money!

What you need to start making purchases with your cell phone:
- Your cell phone: An Android smartphone, version 4.4 or above, with contactless (NFC) technology.
- The CaixaBank Pay App: Install it on your device.
- Download your card onto your cell phone: From the app you can download your cards FREE OF CHARGE.

How it works:
1. Open a session with the same log-in details as you use in Línea Abierta.
2. Select the card you wish to download onto your cell phone.
3. Hold your cell phone close to the POS terminal until you hear the confirmation “beep” sound.
4. Enter your PIN if the amount of the purchase is above €20.
5. That's it, payment made!
Important: To pay, the cell phone screen must be lit up.
